We had a busy wedding weekend celebrating our friends, Ryan and Kate!  Jeremiah was one of Ryan's groomsmen and Zoey was the flower girl!!!  She was so excited and did so well, even though she was so shy and hardly talked to a single soul!!!  So funny that the loud, crazy girl that we see at home can be so different to people outside our family!  Crazy girl!!  When Ayden kept hearing us talk about Zoey and Jeremiah being in the wedding, he asked what he was going to be in the wedding!  We told him he was just a guest and he would sit and watch with me!  Well, he wasn't happy at all about that and said, "If I'm not in the wedding, then I'm not going"!!!!!  He couldn't BELIEVE that Ryan didn't ask him to be one of his "best guys"!!!  HAHA!!

On Friday, we handed off this crazy monkey for a fun weekend getaway with Grandma and Grandpa!!!  We knew he would be a handful with all the wedding activities we had all weekend, so it worked out perfectly for him to have his turn at Grandpa & Grandma's house, like Ayden and Zoey did last month!  :)  He had his backpack packed and he was excited!!!

We had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner on Friday night!  Zoey was super excited that she got to be in the wedding with her Daddy!!

We had dinner at Javier's in Newport Beach....not a bad view at all!!  :)

Zoey got a sweet card from Kate, a pretty necklace and a hair clip to wear at the wedding!  She loved it all!  :)

This little guy couldn't hang at dinner....he fell asleep in his chair before dinner came.....guess that's what happens when you have been up since 1:00 am!!!!  (Yes, he woke up at 1 am, never went back to sleep, watched some movies, ate some snack, then went to school all day, never took a cat nap, and then the rehearsal and dinner.....finally crashed at 8:30 pm!!!  No idea how he functions or why he has been doing this lately, but it's driving us crazy!!!!)

And luckily my friend Jackie helped do Zoey's hair and this cute waterfall braid.....

Love this picture of the two of them!!  Everyone kept telling us what a cute couple they made!!  HA!  I agree!!!  :)

So fun to have a date night together....if you can really call it a "date" when 2 of our kids are in tow!?!?!  :-/

I could hardly keep track of Ayden the entire day!  He is our wanderer and I kept finding him wandering off, searching for golf balls in the bushes, looking at fish in the lake, etc.  So after we were all seated at our table and I couldn't find him anywhere, I was shocked when he came in with the wedding party as they were being introduced at the reception!!!  He had all kinds of props....just like the rest of them!!  HA.....guess he got to be "in" the wedding after all!!!  :)

And speaking of dancing, this little firecracker owned the dance floor!!!!  It's so funny and so entertaining to watch him dance!!  My favorite thing about the last couple weddings we have been to, has been watching my kids ham it up on the dance floor!!!

He seriously had a circle of people around him most of the night!!  He loves the attention and isn't shy at all!!!!  We laugh....we have no idea where he gets this from, cuz you will rarely find Jer & I on the dance floor!!!  LOL!!  I hope that Ayden is this confident and this wild on the dance floor for the rest of his life!!!  :)

This little girl, on the other hand, she didn't spend too much time on the dance floor!!  Being a flower girl is pretty exhausting.....so she crashed!!!!

And when she got too heavy for me, I had to hand her off.....

I was looking for Ayden at one point.....couldn't find him anywhere and then glanced over to find him standing at the bar!!!!

The next thing I know, the bartender handed him 3 Roy Rogers......yes, 3!!!!  I immediately went up to Ayden and asked him what the heck he was doing and dripping in sweat (cuz he just came off the dance floor), he said, "Mom, this is going to save me so much time.....cuz now that I have 3, I will not have to go back and forth from the dance floor to get a drink"!!!  Oh my!!!  This kid!!!!

On our way out of the venue, we saw this sign.....

....and then a huge In N Out truck.....ready to make burgers!!!!  Jer couldn't resist!!!  Nothing like a In N Out burger at 11:15 pm!!!  What a great idea tho!!  :)

It was a late night and a busy weekend!!!  Kids were up til 10:30 pm Friday night and midnight Saturday night!!!  Pretty sure that calls for a 6:30 pm bedtime for tonight!!!  Yes please!!!!!  :)
