I am officially the worst blogger ever! I have been so unmotivated lately, so here goes our crazy wedding weekend from almost 2 weeks ago when Jeremiah's younger brother got married!

Weddings are so much fun to have all the family in town, but we had an EXHAUSTING week to say the least. We were back and forth to Jeremiah's parents house in Fullerton every night....the kids stayed up til at least 10 pm every night.....naps were almost non existent....our routine was pretty much out the door! Here we are almost 2 weeks later and I think we are all finally recovering and getting back into the swing of life!

On Thursday night, we had the rehearsal dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant in Downtown Fullerton. The best part about the night was that we had a babysitter come to Jeremiah's parents house to watch the kids!! Ahhh....a DATE NIGHT....FINALLY!! It was so great to be able to eat a nice dinner in a nice restaurant having a nice conversation! We had a blast hanging out with Jeremiah's family!

The happy "almost wed" couple.....Kirt and Stephanie!

Jeremiah's sister, Kristen and her hubby Frank!

Can you see the excitement in our eyes?!?!?! There are no high chairs near by, no kids menus, no antsy kids that can't sit still, no sharing of our food and drinks.......just utter peace and quiet with a little bit of adult conversation! Why don't we do this more often?!?!?

On Friday, when all the guys went golfing, us girls got pedicures! Zoe of course had to come along since she is a girl....I was excited for her to get her first pedicure, but we ended up not getting her nails painted because it took forever for all of us to get done and she was ready for a nap! That night, my mom and I went to Golden Spoon and she painted Zoe's fingers and toes while I distracted her with frozen yogurt! It worked...she sat so still!! She looked so cute with her purple nails and toes....she was all ready to be the flower girl! She loved having her nails painted and would go around showing everyone her pretty nails!

Sitting with Grandma Brenda....getting ready to dip her feet in!!

This is how Zoe sat for my entire pedicure! She was such a good girl and was entertained mostly by pushing all the buttons on the massaging chair!

Zoe getting her nails painted by Grammy Con!

She was so distracted by the ice cream that she didn't even know she was getting a manicure.....

....or pedicure!!!

Pretty toes!!!

The actual wedding day was a forever long day! We went to Jeremiah's parents house in the morning to hang out with all the family and get ready!

What a handsome little fella!!

I was thoroughly entertained by the guys on the day of the wedding! This was only hours before the wedding.....and while the girls are getting hair done, makeup done, getting dressed, etc.......this is what the boys do on wedding days!! Hanging out in the garage playing a crazy bike of Uncle Frank's!

And this is a common site in the Smith family garage.....all the guys huddled in the garage "fiddling" with a bike or two (notice all the bikes in this garage)!!!

We had to be there almost 3 hours before the wedding started for pictures. It was a long wait and unfortunately was right at nap time!!

Ayden and Zoe getting all ready for the big moment.....taking some practice runs!!

Zoe thought she would be a better puller than a passenger!!

Ayden finally gave in and crashed!! Too bad Zoe didn't follow suit!

And we did have to resort back to the binky for this day....and this day ONLY!!! We didn't want Zoe's screaming and crying (from missing a nap) to ruin the day!

And notice the sore on Zoe's lip.....that morning, she was walking around with a blanket over her head, tripped and fell face first giving herself a fat lip!! Perfect for the wedding day!! That's like getting a big zit on your nose the day of your prom!!

Pretty shoes!!!

Ayden making good use of the wagon....NAP TIME!!! =)

Sitting outside in the HOT, HOT, HOT sun.....it was about 100 degrees that day and we were waiting to get pictures taken!!

Waiting.....

.....and waiting.....

.....and waiting.....

.....and STILL waiting.....

So finally Zoe got bored and decided to go explore the golf course!

Mr. GQ!!

Here is Ayden scolding Zoe for taking the flags out of the holes!! I think he was just jealous that he didn't think of the idea first!!

Jeremiah and his Dad!

After lots of pictures and waiting around, it was time for Ayden and Zoe's big moment!! I was so nervous....I felt like the bride!! Ayden was supposed to pull our wagon, which had Zoe and another one year old, down the aisle! The worst thoughts popped in my head.....Ayden wouldn't move, Zoe would jump out, Zoe would scream the whole way, Ayden would run down the aisle and tip the wagon over knocking both girls unconscious, etc!!! I was a wreak.....but it went PERFECTLY!!! Ayden looked so handsome in his tux and did such a great job....he was so strong pulling those two girls the whole way! And Zoe (even though she had cried, let's be honest, she SCREAMED, through the entire rehearsal) was distracted by the yummy taste of the ring pop sucker she was busy sucking! Ahhhh.....they looked so cute and I was so proud of them.....and so glad for it to be over so I didn't have to worry anymore!! Ha!

This is Ayden with Jeremiah's 3 cousins....Garrick, Cody and Jerico. These guys were SO GREAT to play with Ayden and Ayden absolutely ADORED each one of them! He kept calling them "his boys" and he would always want to know where "his boys" were and if he could play with "his boys"!

Jeremiah and Kristen.....so serious!!

Kirt waiting for his bride!!

The newest Mr. and Mrs. Smith!!!

These next few pictures are of the kids stealing the show!!

And here's a video!! He did SO good the whole way up....until he saw me and then he got all confused as to where to go!! At least it was cute!

And after the wedding, there were MORE pictures!! Did I already mention that it was a VERY long day?!?!?!

Zoe has had it at this point!!

Ayden afterwards with his ring pop sucker and football....his rewards for doing such a great job!!

Kisses for Grandma!

And then a little Sparkling Cider....

....or a lot!!

He LOVED the stuff!! =)

Oh how much cuter this picture would be if that darn pink binky wasn't in her mouth!!! Darn!!

The reception was the best because once again, we were able to send the kids on their way to be babysat at Grandma and Grandpa's house! They were so ready to get out of there...and we enjoyed another night alone! I only got two pictures from the reception....I wish I got some more because Jeremiah was cuttin' a rug on the dance floor!! =)

My mom and I!

Ahhh....we had a blast, but I'm glad it's over....until the next big family function!! =)
